Yaz/Yasmin Birth Control Litigation

In a landmark case involving the oral contraceptives Yaz and Yasmin, plaintiffs accused pharmaceutical company Bayer of misleading marketing practices and failing to adequately warn users about the health risks of taking the drug. Thousands of women reported severe injuries tied to the contraceptives, including blood clots, deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, heart attacks, strokes, gall bladder complications, and, in some cases, death.
