Seeger Weiss LLP is pleased to announce that Partner Christopher A. Seeger has been appointed Co-Lead Counsel in In re: Dupixent (Dupilumab) Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 3180, pending in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
The litigation involves claims that Dupixent, an injectable biologic prescribed to treat inflammatory conditions including atopic dermatitis and eczema, has been linked to the development of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL), a cancer that originates in the skin. Plaintiffs allege that the drug’s manufacturers, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals and Sanofi, failed to warn patients and the medical community about this risk. The Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation centralized the federal cases in the District of New Jersey in June 2026. In announcing the appointments, the Court found that the leadership team reflects “a diversity of backgrounds, skills, expertise, and prior casework and roles.”
“Patients prescribed Dupixent were trying to get relief from difficult conditions, and they deserved to be told about the risks that came with it,” said Seeger. “I’m grateful to Judge Quraishi for the trust he has placed in this leadership team. Our job now is to build the record, get answers about what Regeneron and Sanofi knew about the risk of CTCL, and move this case forward. We are committed to doing right by every patient who was diagnosed with cancer as a result of using Dupixent.”
A Partner of Seeger Weiss, Seeger has helped secure some of the largest settlements in American legal history, including more than $60 billion in the National Prescription Opiate Litigation and $6 billion in the 3M Combat Arms Earplug Litigation. He currently serves as Lead Counsel in the Depo-Provera Products Liability Litigation and In re: Class Action Settlement Administration Litigation, Plaintiffs’ Lead Negotiation Counsel in the Johnson & Johnson Talcum Powder Litigation, and Plaintiffs’ Coordinating Counsel in the MultiPlan Health Insurance Providers Litigation, among other leadership positions.
Seeger Weiss continues to pursue accountability for patients and communities harmed by corporate misconduct across its active mass tort and class action docket.
