Seeger Weiss is proud to announce that Partner Shauna Itri has been appointed to the Sedona Conference Working Group 1 (WG1) Steering Committee for a three-year term beginning January 1, 2026. This appointment reflects Shauna’s longstanding leadership and dedication to advancing best practices in eDiscovery and information governance.

Shauna has played a pivotal role in several of WG1’s most significant recent projects, as  she served on the brainstorming group, webinar panel, and drafting team for the recently published Commentary on Discovery of Mobile Device Data. She also served as both a brainstorming group and drafting team lead for the Commentary on Enhancing the Effectiveness of Rule 26(f) Conferences, contributing substantially to the development of practical guidance for practitioners.

In addition, Shauna has been a leader at four WG1 Meetings from 2022 to 2025. Her sustained involvement and leadership have made her a trusted voice in the Sedona Conference community.

Shauna’s appointment to the WG1 Steering Committee is a testament to her deep knowledge, collaborative approach, and commitment to improving the civil discovery process. We look forward to her continued impact on behalf of the broader legal community.
