Seeger Weiss received multiple honors at American Lawyer Media’s Elite Trial Lawyers 2024, with founder Chris Seeger winning Plaintiff Attorney of the Year, partner Parvin Aminolroaya recognized as an Elite Women of the Plaintiffs Bar Award, and the firm named Environmental Protection Practice Group of the Year.

In the last year, Chris Seeger achieved a string of notable victories, securing significant settlements for injured plaintiffs in complex cases. As court-appointed co-lead counsel, Chris negotiated a more than $6 billion settlement to resolve the 3M Combat Arms Earplug Litigation. In the Proton Pump Inhibitor Litigation, he reached settlements totaling more than $590.4 million on behalf of patients who suffered kidney injuries while using proton-pump inhibitor drugs. After receiving final approval for the uncapped economic loss settlement worth a minimum of $479 million in the Philips Recalled CPAP, Bi-Level Pap, and Mechanical Ventilator Litigation, Chris negotiated additional agreements in April 2024 to resolve plaintiffs’ personal injury claims for $1.075 billion and medical monitoring claims for $25 million. In the National Prescription Opiate litigation, Chris was appointed to the Executive and Settlement Committees by Judge Dan A. Polster. To date, Chris has been involved in securing settlements worth over $50 billion.

Seeger Weiss’ Environmental Practice area achieved notable results in major environmental litigation in 2023, holding corporations accountable for environmental harms and securing substantial compensation for affected communities. The firm, experienced in PCB contamination cases, served as outside counsel to the Commonwealth of Virginia and Attorney General Jason Miyares in a lawsuit against Monsanto, resulting in an $80 million settlement.

Partner Parvin Aminolroaya, co-lead counsel in the Glucagon-like Peptide-1 Receptor Agonists Litigation and the Elmiron Products Liability Litigation, received recognition as an Elite Women of the Plaintiffs Bar Award winner.
