Lawdragon SW Stephen Weiss Legends List

Seeger Weiss LLP is proud to announce that founding partner Stephen Weiss has been selected for inclusion on the 2025 Lawdragon Legends list. Lawdragon Legends represents an elite group of attorneys who have been recognized in The Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America at least ten times, showcasing a career of sustained excellence, leadership, and impact.

As Chair of Seeger Weiss’s qui tam/whistleblower practice, Weiss has led high-stakes litigation in healthcare and tax fraud, securing groundbreaking recoveries against major corporations, including CareCore National, Warner Chilcott, and Life Spine, Inc. In March 2023, he helped achieve a $10 million settlement with Stimwave for False Claims Act violations, exposing fraudulent medical device sales that led to Medicare overbilling.

Weiss’s practice spans a diverse array of high-profile litigations, including agriculture, securities, employment, environmental, and clergy sexual abuse cases. His work has led to some of the largest settlements in U.S. history, including a $1.51 billion nationwide class action settlement in the Syngenta AG MIR162 Corn Litigation.

In announcing the honorees, Lawdragon highlighted the exceptional caliber of attorneys selected:

“Nowhere will you find a collection of lawyers as vibrant, diverse, insightful, tough, and brilliant as those assembled here. This is our toughest group in which to win admittance – requiring not just excellence, but the drive and determination to be the best.”
