Seeger Weiss is proud to announce that partner Shauna Itri has been named to Legal Intelligencer’s 2023 Professional Excellence Award “Power Players” list. The Power Players award honors attorneys that, through their advocacy, have “made a significant impact in 2022 on public policy, legislation or jurisprudence in Pennsylvania.”   

For over a decade, partner Shauna Itri has led litigation teams in complex fraud cases in both state and federal courts. Her practice is focused on representing plaintiffs in various settings, including class action securities and consumer matters and under whistleblower laws. Shauna served as part of the “Clean Diesel” Fraud litigation team working on lawsuits brought against car manufacturers for allegedly disguising the actual emissions levels of their diesel engine cars and has litigated multiple whistleblower cases to government intervention and settlement. 

First published in 1843, The Legal Intelligencer is the oldest daily law journal in the country. Their Professional Excellence Awards, given annually since 2014, highlight “the great work and achievements across the full breadth of the Pennsylvania legal community.” The selection methodology can be found here.
