Seeger Weiss is proud to announce partner Caleb Seeley has been selected as a 2024 Law360 Product Liability Rising Star. This honor recognizes attorneys under the age of 40  whose “legal accomplishments belie their age.” Caleb was one of the 158 attorneys selected for this honor out of nearly 1,200 submissions.

Since joining Seeger Weiss in 2019, Caleb swiftly moved up the ranks and was promoted to partner in January 2023. His practice specializes in mass tort product liability litigation related to pharmaceutical injuries, medical devices, and hazardous consumer products.

Caleb has played a crucial role in several groundbreaking multidistrict litigations, including the 3M Combat Arms Earplugs Litigation. His efforts representing 3M earplug plaintiffs in bellwether trials led to more than $100 million in initial verdicts for veterans Luke Vilsmeyer, William Wayman, and Lloyd Baker. Caleb was also part of the Seeger Weiss team that helped secure a $6 billion settlement to resolve the litigation.

Additionally, Seeley was instrumental in the Philips CPAP, Bi-PAP, and Mechanical Ventilator Litigation, presenting plaintiffs arguments against a motion to dismiss filed by parent company Royal Philips for lack of personal jurisdiction. He supported co-lead counsel in the case, helping obtain settlements worth more than $500 million for economic losses, over $1 billion for personal injury claims, and $25 million for medical monitoring.

Caleb’s unwavering commitment to justice and his exceptional legal acumen continue to set him apart as a leading advocate for those harmed by defective products. We are excited to see his continued impact on behalf of Seeger Weiss clients.
