Seeger Weiss has been recognized as a finalist for Litigation Department of the Year, Products Liability/Mass Torts at the New Jersey Law Journal’s 2026 New Jersey Legal Awards.

This recognition reflects a year of leadership appointments and firm growth across the department’s most significant matters. In March 2025, founding partner Christopher A. Seeger was appointed lead counsel in the Depo-Provera Products Liability Litigation, with partner Caleb Seeley named to the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee and senior partner David Buchanan named Chair of the Trial Subcommittee while also serving on the ESI and Discovery Subcommittee. In July 2025, Seeger was appointed Plaintiffs’ Lead Negotiation Counsel in the Johnson & Johnson Talcum Powder Litigation, a multi-district litigation (MDL) that includes more than 68,000 pending cases brought by women who developed ovarian cancer after using Johnson & Johnson’s Baby Powder, Shower to Shower, and other talcum powder products.

Winners in each finalist category will be announced on October 29th at The Palace at Somerset Park in Somerset, New Jersey.
