Industrial Life Insurance Racially Discriminatory Pricing Litigation

Seeger Weiss Represents Plaintiffs In Actions Against Life Insurance Industry for Racially Discriminatory Pricing

Seeger Weiss represents in litigation individuals who purchased industrial life insurance policies (policies with a low face-value that require small weekly premiums). Plaintiffs allege that the Defendants have, for decades, sold African-Americans inferior policies at higher rates than they have charged white customers. Seeger Weiss serves on the Plaintiffs' Steering Committee prosecuting the federal cases that were centralized in the U.S. District Court in New Orleans for pre-trial coordination by a panel of Federal judges.
