Class Action Litigation Against Maytag For Deficient Range Ovens
Thank you for visiting the home page for the class action litigation related to cooking range/oven units manufactured by Maytag. This site is maintained by counsel to the class, the law firm of Seeger Weiss LLP.
This page is designed to inform consumers that have purchased Maytag ovens and other interested parties about the litigation, and to provide consumers that have experienced problems with their Maytag oven the opportunity to assist class counsel in prosecuting the case on their behalf.
A class action lawsuit was filed against Maytag on behalf of consumers that have purchased Maytag range/ovens with model numbers: ACS3350AB, ACS3350AC, ACS3350AS, ACS33OAW, ACS4250AB, ACS4250AC, ACS4250AW, ACS7270AB, ACS7270AS, ACS7270AW, AOCD277OE, AOCD277OSS, AOCD277OWW, AOCS2740E, AOCS2740WW, AOES2730E, AOES2730WW, AOGD2750E, AOGD2750SS, AOGD2750WW, ARG7600CC, ARG7600LL, ARG7600WW, ARG7800CC, ARG7800E, ARG7800LL, ARG7800SS, ARG7800WW, ARGS7650CC, ARGS7650E, ARGS7650LL, ARGS7650SS, ARGS7650WW, ARR6400LL, ARR6400WW, ARR6420CC, ARR6420WW, ARRS6550E, ARRS6550WW, ART6511E, ART6511LL, ART6511WW, ART6522CC, ART6522E, ART6522LL, ART6522WW, ARTC7511E, ART7511LL, ARTC7511WW, ARTC7522CC.
The complaint alleges that the defendant, Maytag, manufactured, marketed and sold numerous range/oven units that contain deficiencies in the motorized door latch assembly that allow heat to escape through the top of the door, which damages or "fries" the control board and discolors the unit. Although we have only filed a lawsuit in Florida, we are investigating the filing of other lawsuits across the country.
Please complete the questionnaire below if you purchased a Maytag range/oven unit, and you have experienced a problem with the door latch or control board. Doing so will aid us in our ongoing investigation and allow us to notify you of important developments.
