Perpetua N. Mgbada

Perpetua N. Mgbada is an associate with the firm. She focuses her practice in the areas of mass torts and pharmaceutical product liability. Ms. Mgbada has worked on various mass torts and pharmaceutical product liability cases including the Vioxx, Zimmer, Pain Pump and Kugel Mesh litigations. She currently works on the Yaz litigation.

Before joining Seeger Weiss, Ms. Mgbada litigated personal injury cases and represented hundreds of class members in mediations and arbitrations against many leading life insurance companies. She has extensive experience litigating land ownership cases, property acquisition, residential and commercial real estate.

Ms. Mgbada obtained her law degree from the University of Maiduguri in Nigeria (LL.B., 1983). She also earned a Master’s Degree in Commercial and Property Law from the University of Nigeria (LL.M., 1988). She is admitted to practice in New York and Nigeria.
